The SY series platform welding robot system features a single-station design. Operators manually assemble and tack-weld the left platform, right platform, and main platform assembly on the fixture before hoisting it onto the SY Platform Welding Robot System. The fixture uses hydraulic automatic clamping for secure positioning.
The robot performs wire touch sensing for seam location before carrying out supplementary welding on the platform. Once welding is complete, the operator hoists the finished workpiece off the fixture and loads a new one.
Workforce requirement: 1 operator per shift.
Robotic welding systems have found applications in a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and metal fabrication. In the automotive sector, for example, these systems are used for tasks such as assembling car bodies and welding components with high precision. In aerospace, robotic welding ensures the structural integrity of aircraft parts, while in metal fabrication, these systems handle complex geometries and materials with ease.
